The History of Blue Phoenix Midstream

Michael P. Grace began his career as the third generation of Graces to work for his family’s business, Grace Machinery & Fabrication, as vice president. After the sale of Grace Machinery & Fabrication, Michael transitioned to the energy sector, holding business development positions with Koch Industries, Inc., El Paso Field Services and EnCana Oil & Gas, Inc.

Twelve years after the sale of Grace Machinery & Fabrication, and after playing an integral role as partner and head of the business development effort in the development and subsequent sale of the Fort Worth Basin assets owned by Lonestar Midstream Partners in 2008, Michael formed MPG Ventures, LLC to function as the vehicle within which to raise private equity for the development of Blue Phoenix Midstream, L.P.

Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, Blue Phoenix offers an efficient, reliable suite of services to natural gas producers in the Southern Central United States and the Rockies while fueling aggressive growth through the pursuit of acquisition opportunities, greenfield projects and strategic alliances with like-minded companies.
